Ok Im probably the last to blog about this but Ive been so busy! IM SORRY!

I didnt take any photos.. cuz... well I told Diana, no point me bringing camera, everyone else will be snapping shots! TOO TRUE! :)

Anyways, Im gonna make this quick! I just wanted to do this post to say a lil shout out to some of the lovely NEW ladies I met!!

(Im SOOOOOO sorry if I missed any of you out!!)

VION: You are such a CUTE lil thang! And to think you're on tghe same age bandwagon as Kas & Sophia!! NO WAY! all you ladies look SUPER young!! Im jealous! Anyways Vion, my first impression of you (At McDonalds) was.. "who is this new face?? why she so easily laughing away??" You are way too cute. Super bubbly and so full of life! You're laughter is CONTAGIOUS!!! You must join us more often for outings and START blogging!! :)

MUNIRA: Ok 2nd time meeting you but you are as cute as a button! You are constantly smiling and you're simply lovely to be around!!

GWEN: Its nice to see you again! I know our first meet was a brief one when you came up t me in Rupini's and said HI! You're very sweet. I always tend to remember you as the urban decay girl cuz of ur spree's ive joined! Im glad to be able to put a face to the name! :)

LASER Hair Removal (DavidLoh Aesthetics)

When I was contacted to be told I was being sponsored a free session of Laser Hair Removal at DavidLoh's Aesthetic Clinic, I was a little bit apprehensive.

What if it hurts??
What if it scars??
What if it doesnt turn out right??

But all my doubts were eliminated, by Dr.DavidLoh, of DavidLoh Aesthetic Clinic.

Dr.David Loh is the official Allergan appointed trainer for all new doctors in Singapore since 2006.
He has trained more than 100 doctors in Singapore and the region on the finer techniques in BOTOX and filler injections.

He patiently sat me through the procedure and explained to me the difference between IPL and LASER HAIR REMOVAL.
It may sound the same but its TWO totally different processes.

IPL is a more common hair removal process and has been around for a while now but did you know, IPL is NOT RECOMMENDED FOR DARKER SKINS??
This is because with IPL, certain frequencies can destroy dark skin regions, and may cause irregularity in the skin colour.

But with LASER HAIR REMOVAL, it is very much suitable for ANY skintone, including darker tones! :)
The process that was done for me, was the COOLGLIDE LaserHairRemoval.

HOW DOES IT WORK??
Light from the laser light that falls onto the hair bulb (the bottom most part the hair follicle) is of a strong enough intensity. This pulse of light must also be of a short enough duration that it spares the surrounding tissues.The hair bulb is destroyed and some stem cells along the hair shaft survives and later produces small tufts of fine hairs again, although at a much slower rate

I had an unsightly and very stubborn hair on the side of my cheeks.

A very cooling gel is applied to the area and the process begins almost immediately!

I would rate the pain as 2/10 ! It was almost painless!

HOW DO YOU FEEL AFTER THE PROCESS:
I kept looking at my face, every chance I could! My skin looked alot more cleaner. Of course there was some redness and bumps, but that went away after a few hours.

DO YOU SEE IMMEDIATE RESULTS:
Well once the first process is done, you get a 50% LESSER HAIR GROWTH. But one visit is never enough! :) If you want to see proper results its ALWAYS RECOMMENDED to go 3-4 times! (depending on hair and area of concern)
After your 2nd or third visit, you see up to 80% LESSER HAIR GROWTH!

So if you hate the pain of having to go threading very regularly then maybe LASER HAIR REMOVAL is the solution for you! :)

TheBodyShop MAGIC Eyeshadow!

I got this about 2 weeks back but TOTALLY forgot abt it!

I was wandering around The BodyShop and this shimmer cube colours totally caught my eye! I normally see the duller tones(maroon/silver etc) but these colours were bright! LOVE IT!
And Ive always wondered..if anyone has ever been able to FINISH UP A CUBE??

The green & Blue are my fav of course!!

These are EyeShimmers! My bestie introduced them to me couple of months back. I was so amused when she showed me these "MAGIC" eyeshadows! I have three here cuz I bought one for my bestie.

ok they are NOT magic!! But I like to think so, cuz they're super cool! :)

So they look like this... WHITE shadows with pretty blue-ish green and gold undertones...

When swatched... at different angles, you can see the lovely iridescence!

But do you know what hapens when you LAYER them OVER BLACK eyeshadow??

They turn into the most gorgeous shade of GOLD and blue-ish green colours!!!

I know its not MAGIC but hey, its pretty cool!! :)

Small Mac Haul (LipLiners)

Dropped by MAC and bought three lipliners.

First off I went to check out the TooFab collection but the lipglosses didnt appeal to me and eventhough the blushers were SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO pretty, I said NO cuz I just spent a bomb on BB blushers & shimmerbrick!
So I saw the lip pencil and grabbed two.

And then I saw ANOTHER Lip pencil in their tray, near the regular eyeshadows collection and it was such a gorgeous shade! I took that too!

From TOO FABULOUS collection, I got Trimmed in Pink and Boldly Bare

and the other lovely shade that caught my attention! Magenta!

Do you use a LipLiner?

I bought three new MAC Lip pencils today. Im a sucker for lip pencils. I feel lipstick application is incomplete without a Lipliner!
Most people dont use a lipliner, and I even saw Diana commenting that she has never used a lip pencil.

Well for those who dont use a lip pencil, Id suggest start using one! You'll see a difference! :)

HOW DO I USE A LIP LINER?
I line the perimeter of my lips, and then FILL in my lips wit the lip pencil as well. This is because the lip pencil acts as a BASE for the lipstick you will apply later.
If you're anything like me, your lipstick would be half eaten by noon! So with a lip pencil, even when your lipstick fades away, you still have that bit of colour on your lips left by the lip pencil.
*You can easily watch any of my videos and you'll see me lining my lips and then filling in my lips with the lip liners.

WHAT COLOURS SHOULD I USE?
Your safest bet would be:
- Natural tones,
- tones similar to YOUR Lip colour
- tones similar to the lipstick you are about to apply over your Lipliner

WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR HIGHLY RECOMMENDED LIP LINERS?
- STAGE Cosmetics Lipliner (Chocolate charm is my FAV! Natural brownish shade. Their lipliners are moisturizing!)
- MAC Cosmetics Lip Pencils (They are SOOOOO soft, a lil too brittle for some, but very easily glides onto the lips)
- Sephora Nano Lipliner (These Mini little lipliners are so CUTE They are very creamy and dont feel drying on the lips)

It may seem a little troublesome to some to have to line your lips when you can just slap on some gloss instead but like I said, if you talk alot, lick your lips alot etc.. you would notice your lipstick fading away fast. So trust me, a lipliner will be your new best friend.
